- 1963
- “Shinagawa Electric Industry Co.,Ltd.” was founded in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
Started production of transistor radios and vacuum tube type stereos . - 1969
- Opened a new production plant for cassette tape recorders in Kitakata.
(This was in accordance with Kitakata city's campaign to attract firms) - 1973
- Became an affiliate plant of “Tokyo SANYO Electric Co.,Ltd.”
Started to specialize in stereos under the new system. - 1986
- Due to the consolidation of Tokyo SANYO Electric Co.,Ltd. and SANYO Electric Co.,Ltd.,
Kitakata Fab became an affiliate plant of “SANYO Electric Co.,Ltd.” - 1989
- Shifted production from audio equipment to semiconductors and renamed as “Fukushima SANYO Electronics Co., Ltd.”.

- Kanto SANYO Electronics Co.,Ltd., Hanyu SANYO Electronics Co., Ltd., SANYO Silicon Electronics Co., Ltd., and Fukushima SANYO Electronics merged together and formed “Kanto SANYO Semiconductors Co., Ltd.”
